Amon Amarth, the Scandinavian masters of melodic death metal will perform in Poland on 14th November in Wrocław?s WZ club. The true sons of Odin will promote their newest album ?With Oden On Our Side?, which will be released three weeks earlier!

From the very beginning Amon Amarth was unique to the death metal scene thanks to the Viking mythology, which dominated both their lyrics and cover artwork. The band also has a true gift of composing epic, immortal melodies, which mark their solid, but in the same time barbarically brutal approach towards heavy sounds.

During the last promotion tour of the previous record, “Fate Of Norns”, including both and Europe , the band met with a fantastic reception. During Wacken Open Air 2004 30 thousand fans awaited them in front of the stage!

The premiere of the latest album “With Oden On Our Side” in Europe is planned for the end of September. The band worked on it from January this year and as band’s guitarist Olavi Mikkonen admits, they never worked so intensively on any album before. Apparently the Nordic gods sent them unique inspirations, thanks to which the new album undoubtedly marks a break-trough in their career. “With Oden On Our Side” was recorded in Fascination Street Studios with the help of producer Jens Bogren. Majestic riffs, stunning drums and vocals have never sounded so good and authentic. Moreover, in Wrocław we’ll hear Wintersund and an additional support, which will be announced soon.
