FISH - 20th Anniversary of Misplaced Childhood Tour
In 2005 Fish, encouraged by the fans and promoters, started his “A Return to Childhood” tour, consisting of his solo material, the memorable album and immortal Marillion songs. Finally we will hear him in Poland! On 1st October Fish will perform with a profiled repertoire in Bydgoszcz’s philharmonic, the next day in Warsaw’s Stodoła and then in the Studio club in Krakow.
Fish, who parted with Marillion in 1988, has recorded overall 12 studio albums. The last record, “Field of Crows”, was released in 2004; it is the 8th solo album in the Scot’s career.
Fish remembers his anniversary tour from 2005 as one of the best received concerts in his whole career, where the audience greeted him euphorically. In may he performed in South America, where the reception fulfilled all possible expectations and Fish with his band simply enchanted the fans in Argentina, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Venezuela. In the summer they spent their time performing in Europe, where they played a memorable concert during the Parkpop festival in Holland, gathering a 200 thousand crowd.
As Fish himself confesses, this is one of his most exciting tours in his whole career. “Twenty years later I still feel touched by the music and the lyrics. (...) This dream doesn’t seem to end. It’s 2006 now and we still feel that a time to tour has come. After all this! “Childhood” has no end! See you soon!"
