?Lusitanian Metal", the long awaited DVD by Portugal?s greatest metal band ? MOONSPELL, will finally be released on the 15th December 2008.

?Lusitanian Metal", the long awaited DVD by Portugal?s greatest metal band ? MOONSPELL, will finally be released on the 15th December 2008. And be assured, the wait was worth while, as ?Lusitanian Metal" is doubtlessly one of the most elaborate and most interesting DVDs in metal history.

DVD1 features one complete live show recorded live in Katowice in 2004, all video clips (from ?Opium? to ?Everything Invaded?), an in-depth interview with all current band members and a detailed discography. DVD2 offers an excellent overview on the history of the Portuguese metal institution during its stay on Century Media Records with no less than 50 live tracks, starting with some very old school live rehearsal recordings back in 1992 and ending with the fantastic live appearance of the glorious band known as the mighty MOONSPELL.

?Lusitanian Metal? will be available in three different formats/editions:

- ltd. edition kingsize mediabook with two DVDs and one CD (comes with a 28-page booklet and an additional slipcase with gold foil print)

- standard edition with two DVDs (in a super jewel DVD box - comparable to a high-format CD jewel case / this one will have a 24-page booklet plus an additional 4-page booklet with the changeable cover artworks with the four members' faces)

- standard CD jewel case (includes the audio CD of the limited edition / comes with a 20-page booklet and an additional 4-page booklet in the same vein as for the standard DVD)

The DVD will be also available on the Moonpell's merch booth on the forthcoming European tour, the Filthfest, between the 1st of December up to the 20th.

?Lusitanian Metal? will be released by Metal Mind Productions in the following territories: Australia, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, Poland, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
