Mad Max confirmed for Wacken 2010!
German melodic rockers Mad Max have been confirmed for this year's edition of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place on 5th-7th August, 2010 in Wacken, Germany. The band will play a set of their 25-years-jubilee-album ?Here We Are? (2008) which was produced with many guest stars like Axel Rudi Pell or Michael Schenker. Mad Max debuted on the German metal scene in 1982, delivering a brilliant combination of hard rock and heavy metal. Throughout their long and fruitful career, Mad Max had their ups and downs, but always remained true to their original, hard rockin? sound, making each of their releases truly unforgettable. They managed to record eight full-length albums and one EP, with each release proving their amazing musical skills.
In November 2009 Metal Mind Productions released an exclusive set of four early Mad Max albums ? ?Mad Max?, ?Rollin? Thunder?, ?Stormchild? and ?Night of Passion?, each one in a new digipak edition limited to 2000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on a golden disc.
