This British NWOBHM group is considered one of the most charismatic bands on the planet. Wherever Saxon appears, the fans can count on a classic show filled with energetic and everlasting sounds. After over 30 years of touring the band still presents the same fresh sound and keep themselves in the first league of hard rock.

In 1980 they were considered the loudest, most energetic and moving metal group. Nothing changed since then, and in time they gained charisma and power that every young band could envy.

The record preceding the upcoming premiere, “Lionheart”, was released in September 2004 and instantly landed on the Top 50 of the German chart lists.  All this was because of a stunning sound, which is confirmed by Biff Byford himself: “Lionheart is the most powerful and energetic album that we ever recorded”.

In the center of every Saxon’s show is always the band’s leader Biff Byford with his powerful, unique vocal. He’s followed by the passionate and skillful guitarists, Paul Quinn and Doug Scaratt. – We can definitely say that the current line-up is the best in the band’s history – convinces Biff. The line-up is completed by drummer Nigel Glockler and bassist Nibbs Carter. The Brits will be supported by a long awaited in Poland German power metal group, Masterplan. The band will perform in a changed line-up: Mike DiMeo – vocal, Roland Grapow – guitars, Mike Terrana – drums, Jan S. Eckert - bass, Axel Mackenrott - keyboards.

Saxon previously visited Poland in 2004, giving a great show, long awaited by the fans. Spring will again bring an equally energetic event for all New Wave Of British Heavy Metal fans!
