Tarja - the brightest star of the Finnish rock scene - live in Poland! The soprano singer Tarja Turunen has in a short time become one of the most well-known Finnish faces in the world of music.

Best known as the former lead vocalist of symphonic power metal band Nightwish, which she founded along with Emppu Vuorinen and Tuomas Holopainen in 1966. After leaving the band in late 2005, Tarja Turunen has concentrated on a  solo career under the stage name of Tarja. Her first solo album, “My Winter Storm”, was released in November 2007 and achieved a gold status in Finland on the day of release.
